Jonathan Reed is a designer who for over 30 years has worked with private clients the world over to create houses, their interiors, their furnishings and their landscapes.
These houses are unique, of great quality and with a strong contextual sense.
Working always with independent builders, makers and great crafts people and with a roving eye for furnishings, textiles and artwork, has lent his work a distinctive appearance.
Yet no two projects are ever the same, preferring instead to build a language of design, materiality and detailing specific to the individual project.
With an overriding passion for natural materials and the myriad techniques employed by craftsman in manipulating them, his projects as a result are rich in extraordinary detailing, in texture and form and warm in both colour and atmosphere.
